Accused of cyber fraud of Rs 2 crore arrested from Rajasthan, used to make people victims like this

STF has arrested a person accused of cheating people by luring them to earn money by following, liking and subscribing to videos on YouTube and Instagram from Rajasthan. The accused has defrauded many people of Rs 2 crore in different states including Uttarakhand. Police of five states were searching for the accused.

STF SSP Ayush Aggarwal said that the Cyber Crime Police Station had received a complaint. The complainant, a resident of Haridwar, was lured by cyber thugs to earn money by posing as the HR manager of a company by giving him the task of following, liking and subscribing to YouTube and Instagram videos and defrauded him of Rs 19 lakh 24 thousand. A case was registered in the matter and investigation was given to Inspector Vikas Bhardwaj.

Investigation revealed that the account in which the money was deposited was operated by Narendra Dukhiya, resident of Giravandi, Nagaur, Rajasthan. The team was sent to Rajasthan. The team, with the help of local police, arrested the accused Narendra Dukhiya and brought him to Nagaur police station, Rajasthan for questioning. During interrogation, it was revealed that Narendra Dukhiya had opened an account in the name of his friend Harchand Dara. After this he used to transfer money to other accused in the name of trading. Cases of cyber fraud are registered against the accused in Gurugram Haryana, Bangalore Karnataka, Mumbai Maharashtra, Hyderabad Telangana, Telangana.

Contact people by creating fake websites
During interrogation, the accused told that he creates fake websites of renowned companies and contacts the general public through WhatsApp, email, telephone and other social sites. By pretending to be HR, officers and employees of renowned companies, they lure people to earn three to eight thousand rupees per day.

After this, we send them a link and get them to download the Telegram app. Add to your Telegram group. Then they give the task of liking and subscribing to YouTube videos. After this, they cheat them by luring them to earn more profit by investing in it. For this they use fake SIMs, ID cards and fake accounts.
