Uttarakhand: CM Dhami also gave instructions after the lapse in security of Parliament

After the lapse in security of Parliament, CM Dhami has given instructions to increase the security of the Assembly. Following the instructions of the CM, on Thursday, under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Law and Order, IG Garhwal, DIG and SSP Dehradun visited the Assembly and reviewed it.

During the visit to the Assembly, he conducted a security audit of the functioning of the control room, CCTV cameras and the fire fighting equipment installed in the Assembly. Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Law and Order gave necessary directions to the officers present regarding the security arrangements of the Assembly.

Instructed the officials to prepare SOP regarding the tight security of the Assembly. In the SOP, along with making a detailed plan regarding the movement of persons, employees and media persons entering the Assembly, access control, checking-frisking, it was directed to ensure that there is no lapse in the security arrangements of the Assembly.
