People were agitating for the installation of ultrasound machines at CHC in Pithoragarh, filling the vacant posts of doctors. On the 119th day, the agitators have ended the picket after the assurance of MLA Bishan Singh Chufal.

In Pithoragarh, people were sitting on a dharna with their other demands along with installing ultrasound machines in CHC, filling the vacant posts of doctors. On the 119th day, MLA Bishan Singh Chufal assured to solve his problems. After which the agitators have ended their picket.

Demands will be fulfilled in a month
Please tell that MLA Bishan Singh Chufal assured the agitators that they will install ultrasound machines in CHC within a month. Along with this, he also talked about filling the posts of vacant doctors soon and appealed to the agitators to end the movement.

Strike ended after drinking juice
Following the assurance of MLA Bishan Singh Chufal, Rajendra Bora, convenor of the all -party committee, said that the movement is being postponed after the MLA’s assurance. But at the same time he also said that if his demands are not met then the movement will be started. MLA Chufal and former Congress Secretary Pal ended the dharna by drinking juice to the agitators.
