A daily Betan forest worker was badly injured in a tiger attack in Adnala range of Kalagarh Tiger Reserve Forest under Corbett Tiger Reserve. The forest worker has been admitted to the Government Base Hospital Kotdwar in an injured condition. The incident is said to have happened around 9:30 am.
According to the information received from the Forest Department, Brijmohan, a forest worker posted in Mundiyapani beat of Adnala range of Kalagarh Tiger Reserve Forest, went out on patrol on Tuesday morning along with his other colleagues. Brijmohan was suddenly attacked by a tiger in Mundiyapani room number one. The tiger attacked Brijmohan from the front and put deep nails on his head. In the attack of the tiger, Brijmohan fell on the ground and inserted a stick held in his hand in the mouth of the tiger. Meanwhile, the other companions present together also made noise and attacked the tiger with a stick. Due to this unexpected attack, the tiger fled towards the forest leaving Brijmohan on the spot. Other forest personnel took Brijmohan to Mundiyapani outpost from where he has been brought to the base hospital in Kotdwar for treatment.
The same Adnala range ranger Naveen Joshi told that as usual seven to eight forest personnel were going on patrol in Mundiyapani beat, as soon as they entered the forest from the post, the tiger roaming with the children attacked the daily wage forest worker. done.
