Punjab / Bathinda: The groom was returning home after returning the rented sherwani, died in a road accident 2 days after the marriage

A young man traveling in a car died in a road accident that took place last night on Bathinda-Muktsar Road. The youth has been identified as Sanamdeep Singh, resident of Kotbhai village, district Muktsar. The deceased youth was married 2 days ago. He was going home after returning the sherwani he had rented for his wedding in Bathinda and met with the accident.
Police said that the deceased groom Sanamdeep Singh was posted as Patwari in the Revenue Department of Punjab Government. She had rented a sherwani from Bathinda for the wedding. After the wedding ceremony was over, Sanamdeep went to the shop in his Swift car to return the Sherwani and was returning home in the evening.
Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit Sanamdeep’s car near Bhisiana village on Bathinda-Muktsar road. In this accident, Sanamdeep did not even get a chance to get out and he died a painful death.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took out the body of deceased Sanamdeep from the damaged car. After this, the family members of the deceased were informed and the body was referred to the hospital for post-mortem. The police have now registered the case and investigated the entire matter.
