Uttarakhand: Gangster booked on 13 accused in Fake Registry Scam in Dehradun, action to identify property started

Taking major action in the fake registry scam case, the police have taken action under the Gangster Act against all the 13 accused arrested. Police have also started the process of identifying illegal assets of all the accused. SSP Ajay Singh said that action for confiscation of property will also be taken soon.

Recently, a fake registry scam came to light in Doon. In which the accused committed fraud by preparing fake documents of tea plantation and other lands. In this regard, cases were registered in Kotwali Nagar by the Sub Registrar Office.

Police arrested 13 accused including renowned advocate Kamal Birmani in registry fraud. The police have registered a case under the Gangster Act against all the arrested accused. SSP Ajay Singh said that the illegally acquired property of all the accused is being identified. Soon action will be taken to confiscate the illegal property of the accused.
