Uttarakhand: These two big proposals of the health department will be brought in the cabinet meeting, decision may be taken soon

In Uttarakhand, the government is preparing to provide big relief to the common people regarding dialysis under Atal Ayushman Yojana. Experts say that two very important proposals of the health department can be brought in the cabinet meeting to be held on Friday. On one hand, there is a preparation to provide 100 percent relief to dialysis patients under Atal Ayushman Yojana, while on the other hand, a proposal can also be brought in the cabinet to give permanent appointment to the employees posted on contract in Srinagar Medical College.

It is reported that proposals have been prepared for the cabinet by the Health Department. In this, one proposal is related to completely free treatment of dialysis patients. Experts say that currently under Atal Ayushman Yojana, only 50% of the cost for dialysis is given to the patients, but now after the new proposal, the patients will get 100% relief.

The second case is related to Srinagar Medical College. A proposal can be brought in the cabinet to give permanent appointment to about 142 employees here. In fact, under the government’s decision to give permanent appointment to contract employees within 5 years, many employees were given permanent appointment in the past. In which these employees of Srinagar Medical College were left out. In such a situation, now preparations are being made to give permanent appointment to these employees under one time settlement. In this, 32 employees are working as lab technicians, 60 staff nurses and 50 ministerial personnel.

Uttarakhand cabinet meeting is to be held on Friday. All the departments are preparing their proposals for this. Many proposals of the Health Department regarding this are also likely to come in this cabinet meeting. Out of which two important proposals are related to Srinagar Medical College and Atal Ayushman Yojana.
