Some reports say that about four dozen passengers have applied for asylum. Four French judges questioned the passengers at Vatri airport on Sunday. The hearing was held as part of an investigation launched by the Paris Prosecutor’s Office into suspicion of human trafficking. Some passengers presented their views in Hindi and some in Tamil.
