Petrol pump owner murdered after breaking into his house
The owner of SR Petrol Pump on Paniyala Road in Roorkee was shot dead by miscreants who entered his house late on Wednesday night. The petrol pump owner was shot with five bullets one after the other. There has been a stir in the police administration after the incident. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased businessman was the brother-in-law of the BJP councilor
According to the information received, Geeta Chaudhary, sister-in-law of deceased businessman Jogendra, is a BJP councilor. It is being told that Jogendra (40), resident of Paniyala Road of Ganganahar Kotwali area, has SR petrol pump on Paniyala Road itself. Along with this, he also used to do property dealing work. Jogendra’s office is in his house itself.

Miscreants entered the house by climbing the boundary wall
It is being told that on Wednesday night he was doing some of his work in the office built in his house. During this time, three youths entered the house by climbing the boundary wall of the house. After which he came to his office. Before Jogendra could understand anything, the miscreants opened fire on him. He died after being shot in the head. After which the three miscreants fled from there.

The nephew of the deceased was also shot
As soon as the family members reached there after hearing the sound of the bullet, Jogendra was lying on the ground soaked in blood. It is being told that the son and nephew of the deceased were present there at the time of the incident. The nephew also suffered a shrapnel injury on his finger. The family members informed the police about the incident. After which SP Dehat SK Singh and heavy police force reached the spot.
