Uttarakhand board exams date announced, 10th and 12th exams will start from 27th February
There is big news for the students waiting for the board exams in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand School Education Council, Ramnagar has announced the dates of class 10th and 12th board examinations today, Friday 29th December. Uttarakhand Board’s 10th and 12th examinations will start from 27th February and end on 16th March.
Joint Secretary of Uttarakhand School Education Council, Shiv Pujan Singh said that the 10th and 12th examinations are starting from 27th February, which will continue till 16th March. This time 2 lakh 10 thousand 354 candidates will appear in the 10th and 12th examination in Uttarakhand Board, out of which 1,15,606 are in 10th. Out of this, 1,13,281 are institutional and 2325 are individual.
This time a total of 94,748 candidates will appear in the 12th examination of Uttarakhand Board, out of which 90351 are institutional and 4397 candidates will appear as individuals. If we talk about last year, a total of 259340 candidates appeared for class 10th and 12th in 2022-23, whereas this time 210354 candidates will appear, that is, this time there are 48,986 less candidates than last year.
According to the information received from Uttarakhand School Education Council, this time a total of 1288 examination centers have been set up across the state, out of which 159 are sensitive and 6 are very sensitive examination centres. Let us tell you that there are five highly sensitive examination centers in Haridwar and one in Pithoragarh.
Joint Secretary Shiv Pujan Singh said that the examinations of class 10th and 12th will start from 27th February and will continue till 16th March, for which all the preparations of the Education Department have been completed.
