Uttarakhand: Mountain going travelers should pay attention, KMOU on indefinite strike from today

Meanwhile, there is big news for the travelers going to Nainital, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. Kumaon Motors Owners Union (KMU) has announced a strike from January 1.

Indefinite strike against hit and run rule
According to the information received, Kemu bus drivers have announced an indefinite strike from today i.e. from January 1, 2024 in protest against the new hit and run rule brought by the central government. This information has been given by Kemu station in-charge Gopal Dumka that from Monday, no Kemu bus will be operated from Haldwani to the mountains.

Tourists may have to face problems
People from all over the country and even abroad have come to the mountains to celebrate the New Year. In such a situation, tourists may have to face huge problems due to the strike.
