Dr. Kuldeep Martolia appointed as Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Officer in Uttarakhand Health Department

Dr. Kuldeep Martolia has been appointed to the post of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Officer in Uttarakhand Health Department. He has assumed his charge today. Before Dr. Kuldeep Martolia, Dr. Mayank Badola was looking after the work of IEC officer. Dr. Mayank Badola has gone to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, on deputation as CMO for 02 years. During his tenure, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) did many important works related to health public awareness.
Dr. Kuldeep Martolia has assumed charge as Information, Education, Communication (IEC) Officer today. Talking to the media after assuming charge, he said that he and his entire team will work to ensure that information about all the health programs of the Central and State Government reaches from the cities to the border areas of the state. At present, the central and state governments are working on a war footing to strengthen health services. The common people are getting better treatment in their nearest hospital. Ayushman Yojana is proving to be a boon for every person. His endeavor will be that every person should be aware of health related schemes.
Dr. Kuldeep Martolia said that work will be done to further strengthen the information system. Along with this, new media tools, especially social media, will be used extensively to promote the schemes of the health department.

Along with this, he also has the important responsibility of implementing the mental health program in the state.
