Uttar Pradesh: Police on alert on the occasion of Ram Lala’s life consecration, communal harmony should not be disturbed.

Under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Law and Order, Uttarakhand AP Anshuman, a meeting was held on Friday with the police in-charges and commanders of the district and the Superintendent of Police, Railways, through video conference from the auditorium at the police headquarters. Instructions given to maintain communal harmony and law and order
Additional Director General of Police on January 22, in view of the consecration of the life of Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Lord Shri Ram Lala, alerted the police and local information system to make strong police arrangements to maintain communal harmony, peace and law and order in their respective areas. Directed for.

  1. In view of 26 January 2024 “Republic Day”, as much as possible anti-sabotage checking is done at important places, railways, bus stations, parking, crowded and religious places and trains running from the state, by appointing mobile parties in time and in their respective border states. Instructions were given to conduct vehicle checking at the borders and check posts of the districts and to maintain a vigilant vigil.
  2. Instructions were given to complete the preparations on time so that the Lok Sabha elections 2024 can be conducted safely and without any disputes.
  3. The direction has been given in view of violation of C-Form rules regarding stay of foreign nationals in hotels, dharamshalas and guest houses in the state. Along with this, instructions were given to ensure strict compliance of C-Form and review it regularly.
  4. As a result of instances of non-compliance of the instructions given by the Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and others in some cases involving punishment of less than seven years, it has been decided to ensure strict compliance in letter and spirit of the instructions issued by the Supreme Court.   5. The required police report for premature release of convicted accused has been directed to be provided to the Prison Department within time.
  6. Expressing objection over not taking required action especially by districts Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar and Champawat in the campaign related to serving of non-bailable warrants and attachment warrants and verification of tenants from 15.12.2023 to 31.12.2023 directed for improvement.
  7. Under the relevant rules, instructions were given to follow the “Uttarakhand Police Social Media Policy-2024” issued for all the personnel of Uttarakhand Police in letter and spirit.
  8. In order to go out of the police station area and the district for official work, the inspector in-charge or police station chief and other sub-inspectors should go out only after the permission of the concerned senior officer and the district in-charge.
  9. Uploading of data on the IFMS portal of the Ministry while taking statutory action under the Production, Import, Export, Transport, Sale, Distribution, Warehousing and Advertisement Act (PECA) 2019 and COTPA 2003 for ban on electronic cigarettes and similar devices. Monthly details of the action taken for this purpose were directed to be made available to the District Tobacco Control Cell regularly.
