Uttarakhand: It was revealed in the Mussoorie encounter that this is why the vicious man from Haryana had tried to kill his wife

The vicious man of Haryana has confessed his truth. The accused had killed his father four months ago. When the accused’s wife Tania came to know about this, she made a plan to remove her wife also from the way. The accused tried to kill his wife by shooting at her. Thinking that the wife was dead, the accused threw her under the bridge and ran away.

The accused had opened fire on the Inspector in the encounter
Shubham adopted many tricks to escape from the police. Drove a car with fake number plate. Used scooter. Not only this, the accused also changed many hotels and homestays. When the police planned to arrest him, he opened fire on the Inspector in Mussoorie on Saturday night. In retaliation, the police also shot accused Shubham in the leg.

Father was also killed
During interrogation, the accused informed the police that he shot his father dead in Sonipat, Haryana in September 2023 and threw the body in the forest between Muzaffarnagar to Haridwar. According to the information given by the police, accused Shubham told that he had a liability of Rs 40 to 50 lakh. He had asked money from his father for this.

The accused absconded with his wife after killing his father
When the father refused, the accused killed his father to grab his father’s property. After which he absconded from Sonipat. The accused was meeting his expenses by withdrawing money from his father’s account. As soon as Tanya came to know about her father’s murder, the accused also conspired to murder his wife out of fear of being caught.

This is how the incident happened
Accused Shubham brought his wife from Tapovan to Raipur to carry out the incident. During this, the accused shot his wife Tania and ran away leaving her under the bridge of Badasi in Raipur. Based on the complaint of Tania’s sister Kavya, the police registered a case against the unknown. Kavya had also expressed doubt on her brother-in-law. After which the police proceeded with the investigation of the case.

A police team was sent to the injured woman’s in-laws house in Sonipat. In Sonipat, the police came to know that the woman’s father-in-law Prabhudayal was also not at home since September. After that, Shubham and Tania also left the house without telling anything to anyone. Since then both their phones are also switched off. On the other hand, when the other team inspected the spot of the injured woman and checked the CCTV cameras installed on the road, they got information that the woman had come to the spot in a suspicious car.

Police recovered the car from Jolly Grant parking. On collecting information regarding the vehicle from the RTO office, it was found that fake number plate was used in the vehicle. On searching the vehicle, a number plate, one live cartridge, 2 spent cartridges and other items were recovered from the vehicle.

Information about the recovered number plate and interrogation of the injured woman’s sister revealed that the car was registered in the name of Shubham. After which the police started scanning CCTV cameras to search for Shubham. In which Shivam was seen bringing Jolly Grant from Tapovan Muni’s sand to Tanya through Scooty.

When the police team checked the hotels in Tapovan to get information regarding the accused Shubham, the police team got information about his stay in Aradhana Palace Hotel located in Tapovan, Munikireti from 27th December to 14th January. When the police reached the spot, the hotel owner told during interrogation that Shubham had taken a room in the hotel for a month.

On January 13, he had gone out with his wife Tanya saying that he was going out for a walk. But came back to the hotel alone in the evening. After that Shubham left the hotel with his luggage on the morning of 15 January. Police found a suspicious mobile number of accused Shubham from the hotel. Whose location was found Mall Road Mussoorie. On receiving the information, the police team immediately left for Mussoorie to arrest the accused.

The accused fired at the inspector
Depending on the location, the police team was conducting checking operations in different hotels located on Mall Road to search for the accused. During checking, a person named Shubham in the register of Sakshi Home Stay Mussoorie was found to be staying in the hotel room since January 15.

On which the police team tried to catch the accused by opening the door of that room. Then the accused opened fire on Inspector Mithun. In retaliation, the police also fired at the leg of the accused. The police immediately informed the higher authorities about the incident. On the instructions of higher officials, the inspector was immediately admitted to Max Hospital for treatment.

That’s why the accused made a plan to kill his wife…
The accused told during interrogation that he had taken a loan of Rs 40 to 50 lakh from various people in Haryana. After which people were pressurizing him to return there. He had asked for money from his father. Following the father’s wish, the accused planned to remove the father out of greed for property. In September, the accused shot him dead in Sonipat.

After the murder, the accused dumped his father’s body in the forest between Muzaffarnagar and Haridwar. After this the accused fled from there with his wife. After escaping from Sonipat, the accused started living with his wife in a room on rent in Chhiddarwala, Raiwala.

The accused received information that Haryana Police had reached his in-laws house in connection with the missing of his father. The accused left the room with his wife and ran away towards Tapovan, Munikireti. After this, both of them stayed at Aradhana Palace Hotel located in Tapovan Munikireti from 27th December to 14th January. Meanwhile, Tanya came to know that her husband had murdered her father.

Accused Shubham planned to murder his wife out of fear of being caught. On January 13, Shubham came to Jolly Grant on Scooty with his wife Tanya. From where he took his wife to Badasi bridge in his car already parked in Jolly Grant parking. Where he shot his wife on the head, threw her off the bridge and ran away.
