Truth and Reality

With the help of AI, a photo was taken of the dead body with its eyes open, police’s formula worked in identification.

With the help of AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence, Delhi Police first identified the dead body and then arrested the accused. This matter is from North Delhi. Often, photographs of the deceased are published in newspapers for identification, in which the face is not clearly visible, this time with the help of AI, the police tried to show the face of the deceased as if his normal photograph was visible. This method of the police also proved effective.

In fact, on January 10, Delhi Police found the body of a youth under the Geeta Colony flyover. After the post-mortem, the police came to know that the murder was committed by strangulation but no mark or identity card was found near the body which could identify it. The police had understood that the murderer had searched the area under the flyover of Geeta Colony to dispose of the dead body in a very clever manner.

Took help of AI and police made posters

Now the biggest problem before the police was identification of the body. But the face was not in such a condition that anyone could easily recognize it by looking at its photo. For this, North Delhi Police took the help of Artificial Intelligence. With the help of AI, the police showed the face of the dead body in such a way that it would have looked like when its eyes were open or if it was in good condition.

After this exercise, the police made posters of that picture and got it posted in different areas of Delhi, the posters were shared in police stations and were also shared in WhatsApp groups. The police had printed a total of five hundred posters. The special thing was that with the help of AI, the police had also changed the background of the corpse to Yamuna river.

Dead body identified

This effort of the police paid off, the police had also put up these posters in Chhawla areas of outer Delhi. After identification from the poster outside Chhawla police station, a call came to Delhi Police. The caller told Delhi Police that this photo was of his elder brother Hitendra. Delhi Police had already registered a case of murder in the Kotwali police station. Once identified, Delhi Police examined Hitendra’s profile and interrogated people around him so that the investigation could proceed.

Clue of murderer found

After identification, when the police proceeded with the investigation of the case, they came to know that Hitendra had a fight with three youths over some issue and then when the police investigated the location and collected other clues, they came to know that That those three youths had strangulated Hitendra to death and then disposed of the body.

The police found out that a woman had also helped them in hiding the clues. After which the police arrested the woman also. At present the police is taking further action in this matter.
