Uttarakhand / Dehradun: An initiative on Republic Day, villagers took a pledge to get more admissions in government schools

Republic Day is being celebrated with great pomp across the country today. Villagers took a unique initiative on Republic Day in Doiwala, Dehradun. People distributed coffee and sweets to the government school students who were taking out Prabhat Pheri. Along with this, it was resolved to provide maximum admissions in government schools.

Pledge to get more admissions in government schools
The festival of Republic Day is being celebrated with great pomp across the state. On this occasion, students of government primary schools took out morning procession and awakened the feeling of patriotism by singing patriotic songs. The villagers of Bullawala village also became a part of it. At present most of the parents are avoiding enrolling their children in government schools.

To reduce this distance, the villagers distributed coffee and sweets to hundreds of students of government schools participating in Prabhat Pheri and gave a big message by taking a pledge to get maximum admissions in government schools.

Commendable initiative of villagers to promote government schools
Social workers Haseen Ahmed and Basarat Ali said that today on the occasion of national festival, a commendable initiative has been taken by the villagers to boost the enthusiasm of the students and promote government schools. Along with this, he said that on the occasion of the upcoming national festival, even better programs will be organized for these students. So that students and parents who are turning away from government schools can take admission in these schools in large numbers.
