Madhya Pradesh: In Rewa, 58 students fell ill after eating food on Republic Day, puri-vegetables and laddus had come from the sweet store

There was a stir today in Padri village under Sirmaur tehsil area of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh when 58 students of the same school suddenly fell ill. As soon as the news of children suddenly falling ill, everyone was shocked. It has been told that after the Republic Day program was over, food was served to the school students. After this, as soon as the children ate food, they became victims of food poisoning. The school children who fell ill were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment by the school management and the people present nearby.
Health of 58 children deteriorated
The incident took place at Government Primary School Padri under Sirmaur tehsil area. Today, Republic Day celebration was organized at Government Primary School, Padri. After the ceremony, as the children ate food, suddenly their health started deteriorating. Let us tell you that potato and cabbage curry, puri and laddu were served to the children to eat. About 58 children became ill from this food. With the help of the school management and local people, all the children were immediately taken to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
Puri oil was with expiry date
As soon as the news of this incident came, the administrative staff also reached the spot. Chief Medical and Health Officer K.L. The team of health staff including Namdev reached Civil Hospital Sirmaur. It is being told that after reaching the spot, the health staff did investigation and found that the oil used to make the puri was of expiry date. However, the reason why the children became victims of food poisoning is being ascertained. Now the health condition of all the children is said to be improving.
Where did the puri sabzi and laddu come from?
CMHO Rewa K.L. Namdev told that the potato-cabbage vegetable puri and laddu were brought from Uday Sweets Store, Baikunthpur. The investigation team has seized all the food items from the sweet store. Regarding the incident, Chief Medical Health Officer KL Namdev said that after organizing the function, the children were given food, after eating which they had stomach ache and suddenly became ill. All the 58 sick children are out of danger and are being treated. Samples of food items will be taken and tested and action will be taken based on whatever facts come to light.
