Uttarakhand: Congress MLA’s warning to the people from the packed stage, said- “If Congress is not elected in the Lok Sabha elections, then the state government…”

A Congress MLA in Karnataka threatened people from the stage. The MLA told the people from the stage that if they did not vote for Congress in the Lok Sabha elections, then the Congress government of the state would stop the guarantee scheme. On Tuesday, MLA HC Balakrishna gave this controversial statement while addressing a public meeting in his area. HC Balakrishna, Congress MLA from Magadi seat of Ramanagara district, said that if the people do not choose Congress in the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka, then the state government will stop the guarantee scheme. He said that if the people want guarantee, then Congress will contest on 28 Lok Sabha seats. Will have to win. Is your vote for yellow rice or guarantee?

“We will feel that there is a bigger temple for you than the guarantee scheme.”

The Congress MLA said from the stage that I have spoken to the CM and DCM, we are also Hindus, building a temple is a good thing but asking for votes in the name of a temple is wrong, that is why if the public makes Congress victorious then we will continue the guarantee scheme. We will keep it, if the public rejects us then we will cancel the guarantee scheme, because we will feel that there is a bigger temple for you than the guarantee scheme.

“We will also build a temple here with the same money.”

MLA Balakrishna further said in a sarcastic tone that in such a situation there is no point in continuing the guarantee scheme, with the same money we will also build a temple here and will give you yellow rice and ask for votes from you. It’s up to you to decide whether you want guarantee or yellow rice. I have also spoken to the Chief Minister, if we do not win the Lok Sabha elections, it is certain that we will close the guarantee scheme and invest the money in development works.
