Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Villagers in panic due to terror of Guldar, four teams patrolled; No clue found

Four teams of the forest department are searching for Guldar in different areas. Despite installation of live cameras, cages and camera traps in the affected areas, no trace of Guldar has been found. The forest department is on alert after the attack on Guldar’s children in Sondhowali and Sigli and every possible effort is being made to catch Guldar.

However, even after more than a month has passed, the Forest Department has not got success. Here, the troubles of the forest workers have also increased due to the rumor of sighting of Guldar in different areas of the city. Teams of Raipur Range and Malsi Range are patrolling throughout the night.

Search is on for Guldar
Guldar is being searched in all possible areas including Sigli, Danda Lakhand, Shivganga Enclave, Canal Road, Sondhowali, Chironwali. Apart from this, patrolling has been increased here also after the sighting of Guldar in Santaladevi area. About two months ago, a four-year-old child was made a meal by a bully from the courtyard of the house in Sigli village. Shortly after this, Guldar attacked a child and injured him in Sondhowali.

Forest department on alert after seeing Guldar
The forest department is alert in view of the increasing threat of Guldar in the residential areas. Four teams, including Raipur Range Forest Officer Rakesh Negi, are doing regular patrolling in different areas. Veterinarians Pradeep Mishra and Deepti Arora have also been included in the team to tranquilize Guldar.

Such preparations were made to catch
Range Officer Rakesh Negi said that solar powered live cameras have been installed in Danda Lakhand area and cages have also been installed in Sivaganga Enclave. The local people are being warned and appealed to be cautious. Apart from this, camera traps and cages have been installed at other places also. However, no traces of Guldar have been found yet. The department team is also patrolling under the leadership of Malsi Range Forest Officer Shuchi Chauhan.

Troubles for forest workers increased due to rumor of Guldar
The Forest Department is continuously receiving reports of sighting of Guldar from different areas of Doon. After which the rescue team which was running after reaching the spot, the information was found to be false during investigation. Due to this the problems of the forest workers have increased. Videos from other states are also being circulated on the internet media and are being attributed to Doon. Rescue team member Jitendra Bisht said that they have received false information about Guldar from areas like Kaulagarh, Dharampur, Race Course, Bindal, Karanpur, Nashville Road, Jaintanwala, Halduwala, Maharani Bagh Ballupur etc.
