Uttarakhand / Tehri: Teacher’s body found in suspicious condition, family members expressed suspicion of murder, police engaged in investigation

There is a stir in Tehri after the dead body of a teacher was found in suspicious condition. After receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. The police have taken the body into custody. The relatives of the deceased have expressed suspicion of murder.

Teacher’s body found lying in the bushes
The incident is said to have happened last night. The deceased has been identified as Premlal (54), son of Soban Lal, resident of Jaspur tehsil Jakhanidhar district Tehri Garhwal. According to the information, Premlal had gone from Lamridhar market to his home in Jaspur on his bike around 9 pm, but he did not reach his home even till night.

Injuries found on the face of the deceased
Premlal’s family called the village in the morning and asked to trace him. After which the villagers started searching for Premlal. During this time, the teacher’s bike was found parked on the side of Jaspur Road at some distance from Lamridhar. When the villagers looked around, they found him lying in the bushes about 20 feet below. By the time the villagers reached Premlal, he was already dead. It is being told that there were injury marks on Premlal’s mouth.

Family members expressed fear of murder
The family members have expressed suspicion of murder. The police station chief said that the police has not yet received any complaint in this matter. The police have taken the body of the deceased in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police are currently waiting for the post mortem report. The real cause of death will become clear only after the report comes.
