There is a strong belief in making a world leader. On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced from the ramparts of the Red Fort that “when the country celebrates 100 years of independence in 2047, then our national flag should be the flag of “a developed India”. To fulfill this resolution, we have to move forward without stopping, without getting tired and for this resolution we have to work with fairness, transparency and impartiality.
He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being taken out across the country. In just two months, more than 60 crore people have joined this Yatra. The positive environment created by the Prime Minister across the country through his important decisions, visionary thinking and plans in the last 9 and a half years is not hidden from any Indian. The schemes of the Central and State Government have proved to be extremely helpful in this resolution, the grand form of which is being seen by all of us today. Developed India Sankalp Yatra will prove to be extremely helpful in taking the concept of developed India to the people in the coming few years.
The Chief Minister said that under the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crores of families in villages across the country have definitely got the benefit of some scheme of the government. In that too, when this benefit is given to the person standing at the end keeping in mind the spirit of Antyodaya, then a confidence increases, a new strength comes to live life. Under the government led by Prime Minister Modi ji, food security was ensured to 80 crore people. Disabled people were empowered, about 50 crore Jan Dhan accounts were opened, about 3.5 crore houses were built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, tap water was supplied to 8.67 crore houses. While on one hand six thousand rupees were given to the farmers every year since 2019 in the form of Kisan Samman Nidhi, on the other hand the Prime Minister also brought “Crop Insurance Scheme”. For women empowerment, 11.72 crore Izzat Ghars were built in rural areas and more than ten crore Ujjwala connections were given. Apart from this, a campaign of one million recruitments was started by organizing an employment fair. We fought an epidemic like Corona boldly and people were given free vaccines. Along with this, insurance of Rs 5 lakh was also provided to ten crore families under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Many agreements were made with the aim of establishing peace and prosperity in the North-East.
The Chief Minister said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram was inaugurated, on the other hand many other projects including Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, Mahakal Lok in Ujjain were completed. Many misconceptions were spread in the country regarding Ram Temple, but under the government led by the Prime Minister, all the misconceptions proved to be void. Apart from this, the 34 year old education policy was also changed and the incidents of infiltration in Kashmir Valley also reduced. He said that under the leadership of Modi ji, while India established its dominance in the G-20 conference, India was also successful in becoming the fifth largest economy in the world. Digital transactions also increased in the country and exports worth 776 billion dollars also took place. Before 2014, the engine of development of the country was running very slowly, but today, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this engine of development is running fast in every field. Before 2014, the health services in the country itself were ailing, but the way health services have expanded today under the leadership of the Prime Minister was not possible earlier.

Before 2014, children had to run from pillar to post to get vaccinated, but under the leadership of Modi ji, vaccines are being administered to children to protect them from deadly diseases under the Mission Indradhanush scheme. Today, under the leadership of Modi ji, the cultural glory of the country is returning again. Before 2014, India had reached the category of a laggard nation, but today under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has become a leading nation of the world.
The Chief Minister said that it is the result of the efficient guidance of the Prime Minister that we are moving towards making Uttarakhand a great state. Taking inspiration from the Prime Minister, we have also taken some important and tough decisions in Uttarakhand in the last two and a half years, which were not taken in the last 23 years. While on one hand we implemented the country’s toughest anti-copying law in Uttarakhand, we also made a law to stop religious conversion. For the first time in Devbhoomi, we took strict steps against land jihad. Apart from this, for the first time in 23 years of formation of Uttarakhand, strict action was taken against the corrupt. To strengthen the mother power, while we ensured 30 percent reservation for the women of the state, we also came up with a scheme to provide three free cylinder refills in a year. Now by implementing the Uniform Civil Code of Conduct in Devbhoomi, we have shown that we definitely do what we say. Through UCC we have prepared an agenda to give equal rights to everyone. But, many people are also spreading misconceptions about UCC, in this matter now the public is not going to get confused by the misconceptions being spread in any way.
The Chief Minister said that we all have to take a pledge that we will sacrifice our hard work in the quest of making a developed India by 2047. We are carrying forward our resolve to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country. He expressed confidence that we will definitely succeed in fulfilling this “resolution without option” with everyone’s cooperation.
