Uttarakhand / Haridwar: Traffic police took strict action, now those who burst firecrackers from Bullet motorcycle are not safe

There is bad news for those bursting crackers on Bullet motorcycles. The traffic police is now taking a strict stance regarding bullet-powered firecrackers. In Haridwar, the police found it difficult to show caution to many youths by installing modified silencers.

Intensive checking campaign of police on the instructions of SSP

On the orders of Haridwar SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal, Haridwar Police and CPU Haridwar Police are using retro and modified silencers on bikes and bullet motor cycles on roads and intersections at different places from the city to the rural areas to control excessive smoke and air pollution. Intensive checking campaign was carried out.

Challans issued to dozens of drivers

While checking hundreds of vehicles were found violating the rules, challan action was taken and heavy fine was collected from 20 vehicles. While a vehicle has been seized due to deficiencies as well as lack of documents, clear instructions have been given to the drivers. Haridwar SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that we will intensify this action in the coming times.
