In Uttarakhand, which is called the energy state, the state government is continuously making efforts to improve the services related to electricity consumers. UPCL management, taking Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s mantra of “Simplification, Solution and Solution” as its basis, has decided to operate a centralized call center, consumer self-service mobile app and organize mega camps/camps to further improve the services of the consumers. Had started. Due to which, the problems of the people living in remote villages of the state are being solved sitting at home.
If we look at the figures, the 24X7 centralized call center located at UPCL headquarters is being operated regularly. Presently 105 customer service representatives are working in the centre. Through this centre, more than 500 consumers are getting solutions to their electricity related problems every day. A total of 19250 complaints have been received so far this month, out of which 10261 complaints have been resolved.
Managing Director, UPCL directed all the regional officers to provide safe and comfortable seating areas and separate lines for bill deposit at all the consumer service centres/revenue collection centers for the convenience and accessibility of the disabled, women and senior citizens. And ensure that necessary action is taken to resolve electricity related problems on priority basis.
