Chances of rain in Delhi-UP, hail may fall in Uttarakhand, read where the weather is expected
At present, the weather is changing from morning to evening in the plain states of the country including the national capital Delhi. Talking about the weather in the coming days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of rain in many states. Moderate to heavy rain may occur over various parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha in the coming five days.
Know what kind of weather is expected where
IMD has said that due to the weather conditions prevailing in north-eastern Iran and its surrounding areas, there may be rain in the plains of north-western India between March 1 and March 3. During this period, there is a possibility of strong winds and lightning. Rain with strong winds is expected in Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi. Hail incidents may also be seen in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Punjab till March 2. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of snowfall in the western Himalayan regions from February 29 to March 5.
Snowfall alert for Kashmir-Ladakh
Talking about South India, there are chances of increase in temperature in Kerala. IMD has issued an alert of heavy snowfall for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for March 1 and 2. Due to rain in the plains, the cold will increase once again. However, IMD says that after this period of rain is over, the temperature will increase, which will give relief to people from the cold. This time, late snowfall in the mountains has disrupted the entire weather. Apart from this, due to continuously changing weather, people are also facing seasonal diseases.
