Anti-tank missile fired at Israel from Lebanon, one Indian killed, two others injured
More than five months have passed since the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Till now efforts for ceasefire between the two sides have continuously failed. Meanwhile, Israel is facing attacks from Hamas in Gaza Strip as well as Hezbollah from Lebanon. An Indian man died in one such attack on Tuesday. At the same time, two Indians have also been injured. It has been told that this attack took place from Lebanon.
According to officials, an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon hit an orchard in Margaliot, near Israel’s northern border. A person from Kerala died due to this. Two more injured are from Kerala only. Apart from this, some other people have also been injured.
Treatment of injured Indians continues
Israeli Rescue Service spokesman Mazen David Adom said the incident occurred at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Garden of Margaliot in the Galilee region. Patniben Maxwell, a resident of Kollam, Kerala lost his life in this. His body has been kept in Jiva Hospital. Bush Joseph George, who was injured, has been kept in Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva. He has suffered many injuries on his face and body. He has been operated and at present his condition is stable. They can also talk to their families in India.
The other person injured, Paul Melvin, suffered minor injuries and is being taken to Ziv Hospital in the Israeli city of Safed. He comes from Idukki district of Kerala. Earlier, the Israeli agency had said that one foreign national had died in this incident, while seven others were injured.
Hezbollah continues to target Israel every day
It is believed that Iran-backed Shia organization Hezbollah is behind this attack from Lebanon. Hezbollah has been attacking with rockets, missiles and drones almost every day since October 8 in protest against Israel’s war in Gaza. The Israeli army has also suffered a lot in these attacks.
