Uttarakhand: Direct flight from Dehradun to Kolkata will start from March 31, schedule will be as follows

From March 31, direct flight facility to Kolkata will be available to air passengers from Dehradun Airport. Currently there is no direct flight from Dehradun Airport to Kolkata, but now IndiGo is going to start its direct flight between Dehradun-Kolkata from 31st March.

Indigo is going to operate flights on this air route from March 31 with its 180 seater aircraft. After this, Dehradun airport will be connected to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, by direct flight. This Indigo flight will land at Dehradun airport carrying air passengers from Kolkata at 12.15 pm. At 12:50 pm, it will take off from Dehradun and back to Kolkata.

Indigo’s flights operating between Dehradun-Kolkata will fly on this air route four days a week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. After which the total number of flights of Indigo at Dehradun airport will reach 15. Currently there are direct flights from Dehradun Airport to Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Prayagraj, Bangalore, Lucknow, Pune, Jaipur.

Due to the increasing number of air passengers, the number of flights is continuously increasing at Dehradun Airport. The number of flights will increase significantly as soon as the summer schedule is implemented. At the same time, there are possibilities of starting flights to some new cities also.
