INDIA will hold a mega rally against Kejriwal’s arrest at Ramlila Maidan today, Sonia, Rahul Gandhi will also participate.
The opposition has called a rally today at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital to protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. This is being seen as a show of strength of the India alliance. Around 28 leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray, MK Stalin, Farooq Abdullah are expected to attend the rally.
Constitution and democracy have to be saved
Congress had said on Saturday that the purpose of the ‘Save Democracy Rally’ of the opposition alliance Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance to be organized at Ramlila Maidan is not to protect any individual, but to save the Constitution and democracy.
