Uttarakhand: Clash between two parties on girl’s birthday in Dehradun, chased; A young man got shot

Two parties clashed over the girl. In the dispute, the young man got shot in the stomach, who has been admitted to Shrimahant Indiresh Hospital. On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against one named and others for attempt to murder. The police have also detained some youths who are being interrogated.

According to Inspector Kamal Kumar, in-charge of Patel Nagar Kotwali, in the complaint given to the police, Jatin village Jhabiran Sarsawa Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) told that he is a B.Sc student and is currently living in a relative’s house in Subhash Nagar.

It was my girlfriend’s younger sister’s birthday
Wednesday was the birthday of Jatin’s girlfriend’s younger sister. On this, Jatin, his girlfriend and her sister had gone to a hotel located on Rajpur Road to celebrate his birthday.

After having dinner, he was going by car to his girlfriend’s house in Ratanpur. Meanwhile, Vineet Negi and his associates started chasing Jatin in the car. Vineet Negi holds a grudge against Jatin over his female friend. When Jatin reached his female friend’s house in Ratanpur, Vineet Negi and his friends reached there too and started calling him from outside, but he did not come out.

However, after some time Vineet Negi and his friends left from there. On this, Jatin left for his home by car with his girlfriend’s younger sister. Then Vineet Negi and his friends attacked him on the way, but Jatin drove the car away and reached Sahaspur police station. Meanwhile, he also called his relatives and friends there, which included Sunny, Vedpriya, Ashish and Harsh.

After this, when Jatin went to drop his girlfriend’s sister to her house, Vineet Negi and his friends again surrounded him on the way to ISBT. Vineet Negi and his associates opened fire. During this time, Jatin’s friend Ashish Sharma got shot in the stomach. He was admitted to the hospital late at night.

Inspector Kamal Kumar said that a case of attempt to murder has been registered against Vineet Negi and his other friends. It is not yet clear who fired the shot.
