In Himachal, brother fired bullets at his two sisters and niece, condition of all three is critical; accused arrested

An incident of firing at a house due to a mutual dispute has come to light in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. Police have arrested a person for opening fire on three women of the family.

Himachal Police has given this information. According to the police, the incident took place in Purbani village on Friday. According to the information, preparations were going on in the house for the marriage of the nephew of youth Raj Chander. Meanwhile, accused Raj Chander opened fire on his two sisters and a niece.

The injured were admitted to the hospital
The injured were taken to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla. He was later referred to Reckong Peo District Hospital. Police said one of the sisters, Krishna Leela and niece Sweety suffered serious injuries, while the other sister Bharti is said to be out of danger.

Case registered against Chander under IPC sections
A case has been registered against the accused Chander under sections of the IPC. He said that he was arrested on Friday evening. After the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly by-elections, the general public has been asked to surrender their weapons. According to the data released by the Election Commission, a total of 1205 weapons have been deposited in Kinnaur district.
