Uttarakhand / Udham Singh Nagar: A young man who was going to offer Namaz was attacked with a knife on his head; he had protested against slaughtering of banned animals

The courage of miscreants is increasing day by day in Udham Singh Nagar. In Lambakheda village of Rudrapur Kotwali area, a young man was injured by being attacked on the head with a knife for protesting against the slaughter of banned animals.

A young man going to offer Namaz was attacked with a knife on his head
The victim has filed a complaint in the police station regarding the matter. Sarfaraz Ahmed, resident of Lambakheda, said that four people living in the village catch banned animals from the fields and slaughter them. He was going to offer namaz on Thursday morning. During this time, all four people were slaughtering banned animals at home.

Protested against slaughtering of banned animals
The victim told that when he protested after seeing the animal being slaughtered, all four people started beating him. The victim told that the accused attacked him on the head with a knife. Due to which he got deep wounds on his head and bleeding started from his ears also. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

The accused threatened to kill
The victim youth alleged that the accused had threatened to kill him. Regarding the matter, Kotwal Dhirendra Kumar said that a complaint has been received from the victim regarding the matter. Currently investigation is underway. Action will be taken against the accused as per rules.
