Online registration for Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2024 starts from today, you can also register on WhatsApp

There is good news for the pilgrims waiting to go on Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2024. From today, April 15, the government has started the process of online registration for Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2024. State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that after April 19, the entire government staff will start preparing for the yatra. Chardham Yatra 2024 will formally begin with the opening of the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri and Kedarnath Dham on 10th May. Finally the doors of Badrinath will open on 12th May.

The website has been opened for online registration from 7 am on 15th April. Apart from online registration, devotees coming for Chardham Yatra can also register through mobile app, WhatsApp number and toll free number. Let us tell you that registration is mandatory for the devotees visiting Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham.

Registration started 25 days in advance: This time Uttarakhand Tourism Council has started online registration about 25 days before the start of the journey. To register for Chardham Yatra, you will have to provide details of traveling members along with name and mobile number, ID for residential address.

Know how to register: Devotees can register themselves online for Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2024 by visiting the website of the Tourism Department, registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Apart from this, you can also complete the registration process by sending a message by writing yatra (travel) on WhatsApp number-8394833833. Not only this, for those travelers who are not able to register on the website, the Tourism Department has given a toll free number – 0135-1364. They can also register over the phone by calling this number. You can register through touristcarertarakhand mobile app on smart phone.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that after April 19, the entire focus of the government will be on Chardham Yatra. The government is hopeful that this time too a large number of devotees will reach Chardham, for which the administration is busy completing its preparations.

According to Minister Satpal Maharaj, several meetings have already been held regarding the Chardham Yatra. After the voting for Lok Sabha on 19th, the entire staff of the state will start preparing for Chardham Yatra. Apart from this, to promote tourism in Manaskhand also, infrastructure development is being done in Adi Kailash and Om Parvat in Pithoragarh district.
