Uttarakhand: Attack on Trivendra Singh Rawat’s convoy, allegations against supporters of independent candidate Umesh Kumar
A complaint has been lodged at Bhagwanpur police station on the allegation of attack on Trivendra Singh Rawat’s security personnel and driver by supporters of independent Lok Sabha candidate Umesh Kumar in the convoy of Haridwar Lok Sabha BJP candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Allegations of attack on Trivendra Singh Rawat’s convoy
A road show was being taken out by independent candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha Umesh Kumar in Bhagwanpur of Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency. Just then, the convoy of BJP candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat, Trivendra Singh Rawat, was leaving from there. Meanwhile, Umesh Kumar’s supporters threw pamphlets on the vehicles of Trivendra Singh Rawat’s convoy.
Along with this, Umesh Kumar’s supporters raised slogans and beat up Trivendra Singh Rawat’s security personnel and driver and other people. Trivendra Singh Rawat’s security guard has been seriously injured. After getting the medical done by the security personnel and the driver, a complaint letter has been given in Bhagwanpur police station.
