The 42nd match of IPL 2024 was full of thrill. Yesterday i.e. on Saturday there was a clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings. This match between both the teams took place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

In such a situation, many records were made in this ground. Batting first, Kolkata scored a huge score. In response to which Punjab won the match very easily. The credit for this victory goes to Jonny Bairstow and Shashank Singh of PBKS. Who played a strong innings and led the team to victory.

Whereas Sunil Narayan scored 71 runs in 32 balls with the help of nine fours and four sixes.

Chasing the target, Punjab easily achieved this huge score. Kings achieved the target in 18.4 overs after losing 2 wickets. Punjab’s opening partnership was 93 runs. Opening batsman Prabhsimran Singh scored a strong half-century. So Jonny Bairstow played an unbeaten century.

Jonny Bairstow and Shashank Singh played stormy innings for Punjab. Where Bairstow played an unbeaten inning of 108 runs with the help of eight fours and nine sixes in 48 balls. So Shashank Singh hit sixes in his powerful innings in yesterday’s match. He played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs in 28 balls with the help of two fours and eight sixes.
