Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh will also contest Lok Sabha elections, Election Commission approved the nomination

The Election Commission has accepted the nomination of Waris Punjab De Chief Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh. He is now contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Amritsar Lok Sabha seat of Punjab. Amritpal is contesting the election as an independent. Presently he is lodged in Dibrugarh jail of Assam. Let us tell you that voting will take place in Punjab on June 1.

On May 10, Amritpal Singh’s uncle had filed his nomination papers. Whereas Singh said in the affidavit that he has property worth only Rs 1000. Not only this, he does not own any movable or immovable property. He does not own any movable or immovable property.

Whereas Amritpal Singh’s wife Kirandeep has movable assets worth Rs 18.37 lakh. This includes Rs 20,000 in cash, jewelery worth Rs 14 lakh and 4000 GBP equivalent to Rs 4,17,440.
