The supervisor of the Municipal Corporation has been suspended for fake appointment of the Sanitation Committee. Earlier, after the investigation conducted by the Municipal Corporation, the suspension was imposed after the allegations were found to be true. On behalf of the supervisor, 7 sanitation workers were fraudulently appointed as sanitation workers under the cleanliness committee. When this fact came to light in the investigation, he was suspended after being found prima facie guilty.
In fact, the councilor of Ward 75 had written a letter to the Municipal Corporation saying that there is no cleanliness committee in his ward. Meanwhile, in January, seven sanitation workers reached the Municipal Corporation office and started demanding honorarium from the officials. Told the officials that he works as a sanitation committee. After listening to him, the officials got the entire matter investigated by Corporation Inspector Rajesh Panwar. During the investigation, the Municipal Health Department had started physical verification 5 months ago. During this, verification was done by taking Aadhaar cards, attendance registers and photographs of the employees. Meanwhile, it came to light that in many wards the employees registered on paper are not working on the ground. Salary payment is being taken from the corporation only in his name.
The sanitation inspector found that the supervisor of Ward 75 had shown seven employees working at his level. The inspector’s investigation revealed that the supervisor had engaged those people in cleaning work without bringing it to anyone’s notice. Supervisor Bablu has been suspended after being found guilty in the prima facie investigation. The sanitation workers have alleged that supervisor Bablu’s son was given bribe to appoint them as sanitation workers. Everyone’s attendance was checked daily by the supervisor. Besides, photographs were also taken while the supervisor was working under GPS.
Chief City Health Officer Avinash Khanna said that in the list available to the corporation, other employees and others were found working on the ground. Lohia Nagar Ward Supervisor Bablu has been suspended for appointing employees against the rules. By forming an investigation committee and investigating the entire matter, the salary payment made in the name of the employees will also be recovered from the supervisor.
