According to the information received from the Health Department, so far health screening of more than 94,218 devotees has been done during the Chardham Yatra. Along with this, 18,989 devotees have availed the benefit of OPD.
Director General of Health Dr. Vineeta Shah said that special health centers have been set up in all the Dhams. Where 24×7 health facilities are being provided. Teams of doctors, nurses and trained health workers are deployed in all health centres. Mobile medical units have also been deployed at various places along the yatra route. In such a situation, health assistance is being provided to the passengers if needed. Health check-up camps have also been set up on the main routes and base camps of the yatra. Where blood pressure, blood sugar and other general health checkups of passengers are being done. Appealing to the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra, the Director General of Health said that the devotees should take special care of their health during the yatra.

Along with this, keep necessary medicines with you to deal with the problems occurring at altitude. There is a possibility of cold and snowfall at higher altitudes. In such a situation, travelers should bring warm clothes, hat, gloves, and good shoes with them. Also keep the equipment and items used for trekking with you. Drink pure water during the journey and keep water with you as per need.
Eat light, nutritious and easily digestible food during travel. Also, keep giving rest to your body while climbing heights.
