Uttarakhand / Haldwani: Cylinder burst while making tea, screams on the spot, one woman burnt, three injured

While making tea in Pilikothi Jagdamba Vihar Colony, a cylinder suddenly burst in a house. The cylinder exploded with a loud bang due to which the entire house caught fire and there was screams on the spot. A woman got seriously burnt in this accident. While three people were seriously injured.

A woman was making tea in a house in Pilikothi Jagdamba Vihar Colony in Haldwani. During this time the cylinder suddenly burst. A massive fire broke out in a three-storey house due to the cylinder burst with a loud bang. People were present in the house when the fire broke out. Hearing the sound of the explosion, people ran outside to save their lives.

One woman burnt, three injured
While a woman got burnt in the cylinder explosion incident, two children and a woman suffered injuries due to the remains of the cylinder hitting their bodies. The burnt woman is undergoing treatment in the hospital. While the other three injured have been sent home after treatment in the hospital.

Loss worth lakhs due to fire
It is being told that a puja was to be held at home for which the women were preparing. The women of the family were making tea on the ground floor of the house at 4:30 in the morning. During this the cylinder burst and caught fire. The refrigerator’s compressor exploded due to the fire. Due to which the fire took an even more severe form. The fire was extinguished after an hour of hard work. There is a possibility of loss worth lakhs due to the fire.
