Uttarakhand: Heli service running from Haldwani to three cities banned
There is disappointing news for the passengers of the heli service operating from Haldwani. The heli service running from Haldwani to Pithoragarh, Champawat and Munsiyari has now stopped.
Ban on heli service running from Haldwani
At present, this service has been stopped for operation maintenance by the Heritage Aviation Company, which is operating the heli service. Giving information about the matter, SDM Paritosh Verma said that at present this service has been stopped for maintenance. SDM said that heli service will be started again in June.
Started on 22nd February
It is noteworthy that heli service was started from Haldwani on 22nd February. Due to which the tourists as well as the local people were getting employment opportunities. But in May, due to fire and smog in the forests of Kumaon division, the heli service running from Haldwani was stopped. After which once again the heli service has been stopped citing operation maintenance.
