Congress gears up for Uttarakhand by-election, Qazi will contest from Mangalore! Name will be decided in Badrinath

Congress has geared up for the by-elections on Badrinath and Mangalore assembly seats. Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin is set to contest from Mangalore assembly seat. Congress is looking for a strong candidate on the Badrinath seat. For this, feedback is being taken from the workers. Soon the state Congress will send a panel of candidates to the high command.

As soon as the by-election was announced, state president Karan Mahara took charge. Mahara held a meeting with the workers in the Badrinath assembly constituency and discussed the election strategy. Also took feedback from the district officials and workers regarding the winning candidate.

Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin is a strong contender for the ticket in Mangalore assembly seat. There has been a tough fight between Congress and BSP in the elections held for this seat. In the 2022 elections, Qazi lost the election by just 598 votes. He was defeated by Sarwat Qarib Ansari of BSP. Whereas Qazi had won in the 2017 assembly elections.

Many contenders on Badrinath seat

After Rajendra Bhandari joined BJP, there are many contenders in Congress on Badrinath seat. In the 2022 assembly elections, Bhandari contested on a Congress ticket and won. He defeated BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt. But just before the Lok Sabha elections, Bhandari resigned from the Congress party and joined the BJP. In 2012, Bhandari joined the Congress and won the assembly elections on a Congress ticket. But he lost the 2017 assembly elections.

Block and city in-charges will be appointed soon for the by-elections

Congress will soon appoint block and city in-charges in Mangalore and Badrinath seats. Senior officials from the party will be given responsibility in election management.

Congress will win Mangalore and Badrinath seats in the by-elections. Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin is a strong candidate on the Mangalore seat. Feedback is being taken on the candidates on the Badrinath seat. The panel will be sent to the high command soon. Congress is fully prepared for the elections. There is a lot of anger among the people of Badrinath assembly constituency regarding Bhandari. The public will answer this in the by-election.
