Uttarakhand: Forest fire reached the school in Nainital, three rooms got engulfed

With the increase in temperature, the incidents of fire are increasing in the state. Forest fire reached a school in Nainital. The fire engulfed a large part of the school in no time. Due to the fire, all the material kept in the rooms and office has been burnt to ashes.

Forest fire reached the school

The fire that broke out in Bajedi village of Betalghat block near Garampani in Nainital district reached the Government Junior High School due to strong winds. The fire engulfed the school building in no time. Due to the forest fire, all the material kept in three rooms of the school and the office was burnt to ashes.

The fire could not be controlled

The villagers reached the spot after seeing the fire in the school. The local people informed the forest department and the police about the fire. After which everyone started extinguishing the fire. The villagers are trying to extinguish the fire that broke out at 12:30 in the afternoon with the help of water. Till the time of writing the news, the fire could not be controlled. It is a good thing that these days the children are on summer vacation. Otherwise, a big accident could have happened.
