For the first time, Yoga Day will be inaugurated from Shiva’s abode Adi Kailash, CM Dhami will visit

On the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will visit Adi Kailash. For the first time, Yoga Day will be inaugurated from Lord Shiva’s Dham Adi Kailash. CM Dhami will inaugurate the International Yoga Day program on the banks of Parvati Sarovar.

The District Magistrate of Pithoragarh has instructed the officials to complete the preparations for the Yoga Day program to be held in Adi Kailash. Let us tell you that earlier the Yoga Day program was to be held at the FDI ground in Haldwani. But now the program has been changed. The AYUSH department has started preparations for the Yoga Day program.

Let us tell you that last year Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Adi Kailash. Since then, the inclination of tourists and devotees has increased for Adi Kailash. Adi Kailash located in Pithoragarh is now developing as a tourist destination. In view of which the Dhami government has decided to celebrate the first International Yoga Day in Adi Kailash.

How to reach Adi Kailash?

How to Reach Adi Kailash Adi Kailash is located in the border district of Uttarakhand, Pithoragarh. The nearest railway station for here is Kathgodam Haldwani. While the nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport. Although there is an airport in Pithoragarh too, but currently flights are not being operated from there.

After reaching Haldwani, you can now take a bus or taxi from here to Pithoragarh. You can also take a taxi or bus to Dharchula from Tanakpur Railway Station. Tapovan comes after a journey of five kilometers from Dharchula. After which, on moving forward, you find Malpa village on the way. Here you can see a beautiful waterfall.

Beyond Malpa, you will reach Gunji village. But before reaching here, you will find Sita Bridge on the way. Here you can see Sita Bridge connecting the hills of India and Nepal. Which is made of wood which is swinging in the air. On moving a little further from here, you will reach Parvati Sarovar. Here you can visit the famous Shiv Parvati temple.

Kali temple is near this lake. Sheshnag mountain and Vedvyas cave are situated near it. People visit Adi Kailash from here. Let us tell you that after reaching Dharchula, 90 km from Pithoragarh, the health of the passengers is tested. After which they are issued Inner Line Permit.
