After meeting Zaheer’s family at his house in Mumbai, Shatrughan happily got pictures clicked with them. He even hugged the groom-to-be and jokingly told the paps, “Khamosh”. Shatrughan seemed to be in a good mood which clearly showed that he was extremely happy with his daughter’s wedding. He also waved at the photographers before walking towards his car.

In an interview to Times Now, Shatrughan said, “Tell me, whose life is this? This is the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and I love her very much.” He further added, “She calls me her pillar of strength. I will definitely be present at the wedding. Why shouldn’t I do that and why should I go?”

Shatrughan said that Sonakshi has every right to choose her partner and he supports her decision. Commenting on his daughter’s future husband, Shatrughan said, “Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their life together. They look great together.”

He further said, “Those who are coming up with fake news seem very disappointed on this happy occasion as they are spreading nothing but lies. I want to warn them with my signature dialogue: keep quiet, this has nothing to do with you. “
