Uttarakhand: Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav did yoga in Dehradun, inaugurated the newly constructed multi-purpose hall

Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav performed yoga in the serene atmosphere of the Pavilion Ground of Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) in Dehradun on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Let us tell you that the Union Minister reached Dehradun on Thursday. In this program organized in the presence of Bhupendra Yadav, a great amalgamation of people’s enthusiasm, energy and health towards yoga was seen.

On Friday morning, the Union Minister also launched a tree plantation program under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. Which reflects the government’s firm commitment to the conservation and promotion of the natural environment of the country. During this, more than 400 persons including heads of many prestigious institutions like Wildlife Institute of India, Forest Research Institute, Directorate of Forest Education, Central Academy State Forest Service and Indian Forest Service probationers, trainee officers of State Forest Service and students of FRI demonstrated their shared commitment to integrate yoga into their professional and personal lives and to environmental protection.

Union Minister inaugurated the newly constructed multipurpose hall

Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav also inaugurated the newly constructed multipurpose hall of Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy by the Government of India. The main objective of the construction of this multipurpose hall is to provide better facilities to the Indian Forest Service probationers for various indoor games like badminton, basketball during their training. In this hall built in 670 square meters, 3 badminton courts can be played simultaneously. Yoga training can also be given to about 150 people here. The design of the building has been kept in line with the main building of the Forest Research Institute. Its construction cost about Rs 5.31 crore.
