Uttarakhand: Politics on removing encroachment from illegal slums in Dehradun, MLA of ruling party BJP itself raised the question

On one hand, the government is removing encroachments in all the slums including Kathbungla in the capital, while on the other hand, the MLAs of the government itself are raising questions on this action. BJP MLA from Dharampur assembly seat Vinod Chamoli is blaming the officers for the encroachment.
Monsoon is going to arrive in Uttarakhand these days. Meanwhile, following the orders of the High Court, on the instructions of the Uttarakhand government, the Dehradun Municipal Corporation, MDA and Mussoorie Municipality are continuing the action of removing more than 400 encroachments. On one hand, the slums are facing the wrath of monsoon, while on the other hand, this action of the government has brought double trouble for the poor people living in slums. After the action of removing encroachment started in Kathbungla slum on Monday, pictures of people getting upset went viral on social media. Certainly, this has put pressure on the local public representatives as well. The MLAs who won from here also have a big vote bank. In such a situation, while most people are silent on this action of the government, there are some MLAs of the government who are expressing their sharp reaction to this action.
Actually, according to an order of the government, BJP MLA and senior leader Vinod Chamoli has given suggestions to the government by expressing his process on the action of Municipal Corporation and MDDA on the encroachment in Dehradun after 11 March 2016. He said that in the encroachment that happened, the High Court should also give directions that action should also be taken against those officers under whose protection the land has been occupied. BJP MLA from Dharampur assembly seat Vinod Chamoli may have declared the encroachment wrong, but he has also accused the collusion of government officials behind it. This directly raises questions on the functioning of the government.
On the other hand, when BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt was questioned about this after such a sharp reaction by the BJP MLA. Mahendra Bhatt said that the government is taking its action under all the rules. No injustice will be done to anyone. If someone has encroached upon government land, then appropriate action will be taken against him. When he was asked that his own MLA is raising questions on this action of the government, he kept quiet on this. The meaning is clear that even though the government is following the orders of the court and taking action to remove encroachment, whether the opposition says anything on it or not, but the problems of the government are increasing due to its own MLAs.
