If you are also planning to come on Chardham Yatra, then definitely read the weather update once. Only then prepare to come. Meteorologists have issued a heavy rain alert for many districts for June 30. In such a situation, there is a possibility of landslides in the hilly areas.

Alert issued for these districts

According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department, an orange alert of heavy rain has been issued in some areas of Uttarkashi, Tehri, Pauri, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar and Champawat today. While there is a possibility of light rain in other districts including Dehradun, Nainital, Chamoli and Rudraprayag. In such a situation, meteorologists have appealed to the people traveling in the mountains to be cautious.

Four Dhams are located in these districts

Let us tell you that Kedarnath Dham is located in Rudraprayag district. Badrinath Dham is located in Chamoli and Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham are located in Uttarkashi. Meteorologists have issued an alert of heavy rain from Bharu for Gangotri and Yanumotri Dham. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain for Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham. Along with this, travelers have been appealed to be cautious.
