Teachers suffering from serious diseases in Uttarakhand will be given VRS, medical board will be formed soon

The state’s Higher Education and Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat was in Nainital on his two-day visit. During this, Dhan Singh Rawat held a review meeting of government schemes and development works with departmental officials from across the district in Nainital. During this, Dhan Singh Rawat said that the teachers applying for medical for transfer will be tested by the state level medical board. If the teacher is really seriously ill, he will be forcibly retired.

On the other hand, the appointment process of seven thousand teachers has started at the primary and secondary level. The minister said that this year 500 doctors will be appointed. Now only one slip will be useful for admission or referral in government hospitals. In a marathon meeting held at Nainital Club till late night, Cabinet Minister Ghan Singh Rawat held a meeting with BJP workers as well as officials of Education, Health and Cooperative Department and gave necessary guidelines. Dhan Singh Rawat said that hospitals will be equipped with CCTV cameras. With this, he can inspect the hospital arrangements and other activities on any day through digital medium.

Under the National Health Mission, 54 crores have been sanctioned to the district. He has instructed the CMO to take special care of cleanliness in hospitals, to change bed sheets every day. He said that complete information about the facilities available in the hospital should be displayed on big hoardings outside every hospital, so that patients will get information about the facilities. In the meeting, MLA Sarita Arya requested to remove the shortage of teachers in Betalghat. Also, information was given about the school that caught fire in Betalghat area.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, who reached Nainital, said that the shortage of doctors in hospitals and teachers in schools is being met. Often fake medicals are submitted for transfer and leave. In such a situation, a medical board will now be formed. Employees suffering from serious diseases will be given VRS. The Cooperative Department has been instructed to issue notices to defaulters and publish their information in newspapers. He said that a meeting is scheduled at the government level on July 1 in which a decision will be taken after considering the transfer of teachers through counseling. He said that NAAC evaluation has been made mandatory in every university and government college.
