Earth shook in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, earthquake of 3.5 magnitude occurred
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 3.5 magnitude has occurred in Chamoli. People came out of their houses in fear after the earthquake tremors felt in Chamoli on Sunday night (7 July).
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred in Chamoli at 09:09 pm. No casualties have been reported so far. Earlier last month, an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude had occurred in Leh, Ladakh.

Earlier in January 2024, earthquake tremors were also felt in Uttarkashi. In the morning, when people were working in their homes, they felt the tremors of the earthquake, after which people came out of their homes due to fear. The intensity of this earthquake has been measured 2.8 on the Richter scale. However, the good thing is that there was no loss of life in it.
