Uttarakhand: Villagers took out Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra amidst heavy rain
Amid heavy rains, villagers took out the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Dineshpur on Sunday. During this, devotees were seen immersed in devotion. Let us tell you that from the elderly to children, everyone participated in the Rath Yatra.
The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath was started from Sundarpur village by the villagers of Sundarpur village. The Rath Yatra reached Sundarpur village for its conclusion after circling Dineshpur city via Sundarpur. During this, devotees were seen immersed in devotion.
Let us tell you that this Rath Yatra is organized every year in the month of Ashadh from the second day of Shukla Paksha. It is believed that Lord Jagannath stays among the people from Ashadh Shukla Dwitiya to Dashami Tithi.
