Bageshwar received the highest rainfall

If we take a look at the data of the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall has occurred in Bageshwar district. Bageshwar has received 271.5 mm of rain in a week, which is 453 percent more than normal. On the other hand, Haridwar has received the least rainfall in the state. Haridwar has received 79.9 mm of rain. However, this is also more than normal. Haridwar has received 56 percent more rain than normal.

Heavy rain alert issued in Uttarakhand

According to the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the state on Sunday and Monday. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Nainital, Bageshwar, Almora, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning along with thunder at some places.
