Maharashtra: In Mumbai after rain waterlogging at many places, trains cancelled, schools, colleges and offices closed

After the rain in Mumbai, waterlogging has occurred in many places. Traffic system has been disrupted in many areas. Rail traffic has been affected. Orders have also been issued to close schools, colleges and offices.

Waterlogging due to heavy rain

More than 300 mm of rain was recorded at different places in just six hours from 1 am to 7 am on Sunday night. Some low-lying areas were waterlogged due to heavy rain. Local train services were disrupted. There is a possibility of heavy rain even today.

Waterlogging has persisted due to heavy rain. The situation in Dadar is more serious. Waterlogging has occurred on roads and railway tracks. The situation is such that even a car running on the road is half submerged in water. Water has also accumulated on the railway track.
